The gentle, sheltered bay draws swimmers, water-skiers and windsurfers, and boat anglers can get out into deeper water anytime.  Black swans grace the southern reaches of the towns beach, and an excellent walking trail with diverse attractions connects all points.

The Mills Gully picnic spot comes complete with gulf vistas.  Down below are the oyster leases. Our oyster season is generally from April to December and they are sold locally.

Dolphins are often seen in the morning or evening swimming across the bay.
